Lexmark XM1242

The XM1242 is a robust and durable A4 mono printer that is a good workhorse for any busy workroom. This reliable multifunctional printer is capable of speeds of up to 40 pages per minute and can scan up to 42 pages per minute, optimising efficiency.

This device is fitted with a 4.3-inch touch screen, which has built in productivity apps providing the user with seamless, tablet like interaction. Print, copy, scan or fax by connecting via ethernet or USB or upgrade to include Wi-Fi. As with all Lexmark devices the XM1242 is fully fitted with full-spectrum security architecture, protecting your important company data from potential hacks and malware. Go further upgrading to Print Release software so print output is controlled by the user at the device, preventing confidential documents getting in to the wrong hands.

The Lexmark XM1242 aims to reduce print expenditure at every turn and has low running costs and reduced power consumption in active use and sleep or hibernation out of standard working hours. It uses Unison Toner replacement cartridges, which can deliver 21,000 prints from a single cartridge, again working hard to lower costs. The device is also EPEAT Silver and ENERGY STAR certified

The XM1242 is an excellent standalone MFP in a small workgroup, home office scenario or start-up business but it also complements a fleet of devices supporting teams that deal with sensitive information.
